Rabbi Steven Burg tells Newsmax that Campus Protests are being Funded by Anti-Americans

Rabbi Steven Burg told Newsmax on Monday we should investigate who is funding the anti-Israel protests at college campuses.

“Follow the money,” Burg said on “American Agenda.” “This was very well-funded. This was very well planned out. It didn’t just happen the exact same tents on campuses across the country.

“I think there is a lot of funding that is anti-America that really wants to put the ideals of America aside. Democrats and Republicans, they have to put a stop to it, otherwise you’re not going to have a country left.”

Burg blamed college professors for spreading antisemitism on college campuses.

“For Jews, it’s a sense of déjà vu,” Burg said. “We’re seeing what we saw in Germany in the ’30s. A lot of the Holocaust started in the universities with the professors. It’s been absolutely disgusting. Finding out how much of this indoctrination is coming from the professors is the saddest part of this whole thing.”

Burg said these protests are not about Israel, it’s about protesters disagreeing with America and the West.

“The screams of ‘Death to Israel’ are also followed by ‘Death to America,'” Burg said. “The Jews especially we’re the canary in the coal mine. We kind of wave a flag immediately but I think everyone else is starting to realize how dangerous these protests are.”
