Ramaswamy gives his endorsement to West Virginia Attorney General Morrisey for Governor
Entrepreneur and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has endorsed West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey for governor. Ramaswamy’s endorsement is based on Morrisey’s fight against the Environmental Protection Agency.
Ramaswamy stated, “The single most important Supreme Court ruling this century is West Virginia v. EPA. It codifies the Major Questions Doctrine, which likely renders the majority of federal regulations unconstitutional. If a federal regulation has a major economic or policy impact, it must be passed by Congress, not a 3-letter agency.”
He added, “This is a key weapon in the legal arsenal to dismantle the deep state and Patrick Morrisey led the charge all the way to the Supreme Court. That’s why I’m proud to endorse him to be the next Governor of West Virginia.”
Morrisey emphasized the need to fight back against the deep state and protect West Virginia from federal overreach and woke-left policies as governor.
Ramaswamy, after suspending his campaign for president, endorsed Donald Trump.
Morrisey has received endorsements from various statewide and national organizations for Governor, including The National Rifle Association, Gun Owners of America, West Virginia Citizens Defense League, West Virginia Farm Bureau, West Virginians for Life, West Virginia Coal Association, West Virginia Sheriffs’ Association, Veterans for Trump/America First, as well as several state senators, delegates, prosecutors, county commissioners, and small businesses.
