Remaining Haley Supporters Reveal Trump’s Weaknesses

Even after dropping out of the race, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley continues to attract votes in Republican presidential primaries. This highlights the voting groups that are hesitant to support the presumed Republican nominee Donald Trump, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.

In the Pennsylvania GOP primary last week, Haley received 17% of the vote, totaling over 150,000 votes. She saw strong support in urban and suburban areas with younger, college-educated, and higher-income voters, garnering approximately 26% of the vote in counties with the highest education levels. Despite officially exiting the race in March, she has collectively received over 20% of the vote in various state primaries.

“I will not support Donald Trump, despite being a Republican and aligning with most of his policy positions,” expressed a Haley supporter in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to the Journal. “His portrayal of the Republican Party and Americans is lacking, and his character is so questionable that I cannot endorse him.

“I am contemplating voting for Joe Biden as a means to prevent Trump from returning to office.”

Conversely, another Haley supporter in Rochester Hills, Michigan, indicated that she “will likely vote for Trump because the other option is not feasible,” adding, “I will probably go with the lesser of two evils.”
