Rep. Babin calls Biden’s Border Move a ‘Total Farce’ on Newsmax

President Joe Biden has pointed the finger at former President Donald Trump for the ongoing southern border situation, a claim that Rep. Brian Babin, R-Texas, strongly disagrees with.

During an appearance on Newsmax’s “American Agenda,” Babin defended Trump’s border policies and criticized Biden’s more relaxed approach.

Babin emphasized that Trump had the situation under control, accusing Biden of intentionally opening up the border to allow in illegal immigrants from around the world as part of a progressive agenda. He described Biden’s recent executive order aimed at managing the border as insincere, likening it to a Tanya Tucker country song lyric.

He went on to say that Biden missed the mark by about three and a half years, failing to continue the successful policies put in place by the Trump administration to secure the border. Babin also criticized Biden for shifting blame onto Republicans and Trump for the influx of illegal immigrants, calling it a farce.

Babin warned of a bleak future if Biden were to serve another term, predicting the eventual elimination of the border, leading to increased risks of drug trafficking and potential terrorism. He highlighted the significant impact on American lives due to the lax border policies.

The representative stressed the urgent need to avoid another four years of the current administration, advocating for a return of President Trump. He accused the Biden team of desperate actions to undermine Trump’s campaign efforts.

On the same day, President Biden announced executive actions to tighten controls on asylum-seekers, with the intention of strengthening his border policies ahead of the upcoming election.
