Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., recently explained her decision to vote against a 2022 bill that aimed to expand healthcare benefits for veterans who were exposed to burn pits. According to various reports, Boebert justified her vote by stating that she was concerned about the long-term financial implications of committing to spend “$600 billion forever.”
