Rep. Burchett Tells Newsmax: Democrats are Losing Control of the Situation

Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., told Newsmax on Saturday that the Biden administration’s decision to send Vice President Kamala Harris to represent the United States in global peace talks indicates that they are losing control.

During a Ukraine peace summit in Switzerland on Saturday, Harris announced an additional $1.5 billion in aid for the country’s energy sector and humanitarian efforts following Russia’s invasion in February 2022.

Burchett, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, expressed on “Saturday Report” that sending Harris demonstrates the chaotic state of global affairs under President Joe Biden.

“They have a group of inexperienced individuals in the White House who lack understanding of historical events and do not realize that our nation is currently the subject of ridicule internationally,” Burchett said.

“Joe Biden is undeniably one of the worst presidents in recent history, and they are struggling to maintain control. They are unable to navigate their challenges.”
