Rep. Clyde Tells Newsmax: Supreme Court Made Correct Decision on Immigration

According to Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., the Supreme Court made the correct decision, as reported by Newsmax.

The US Supreme Court issued a 6-3 ruling on Tuesday allowing Texas to arrest individuals who illegally cross the Texas-Mexico border. It is important to note that the high court did not rule on the constitutionality of the law, but rather stated that the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals failed to follow proper procedures in reversing a federal judge’s order blocking SB4, the law criminalizing crossing from Mexico, from taking effect.

Rep. Clyde expressed his views on “Carl Higbie FRONTLINE,” stating, “this is a victory for Texas, every border state, and the American people. The Supreme Court made the right decision in allowing Texas to defend itself against an ongoing invasion, which is currently taking place.”

The case will now go back to the 5th Circuit for further appeals scheduled for Wednesday.
