Rep. Donalds Tells Newsmax: Biden Is the Most ‘Compromised’ President in History
During an interview with Newsmax, Rep. Byron Donalds claimed that President Joe Biden is the most “compromised” president in U.S. history after examining the evidence presented to the House Oversight Committee. Donalds stated that the recent testimony of Devon Archer, a former business partner of the Bidens, revealed that executives from the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma contacted Washington, D.C. to ensure the firing of Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating the company. Emails and texts from 2016 allegedly showed that Hunter Biden and an unidentified family member were paid $5 million each for their involvement in securing the prosecutor’s dismissal. Donalds argued that the evidence suggests Hunter Biden was hired by Burisma solely because of his connections to his father, Joe Biden. The congressman also claimed that Joe Biden bragged about getting the prosecutor fired and that Burisma paid a total of $10 million to the Bidens. Donalds speculated that Speaker Kevin McCarthy may decide to open an impeachment inquiry into Biden based on the evidence, and believes that the House Judiciary Committee, led by Chairman Jim Jordan, will begin the process. The Bidens have reportedly received over $10 million from foreign entities during Biden’s tenure as vice president under former President Barack Obama.
