Rep. Fallon Criticizes Fauci as a ‘Partisan Bureaucrat’ during Interview with Newsmax
According to Rep. Pat Fallon, R-Texas, speaking to Newsmax on Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci’s recent testimony before Congress revealed him to be a “bureaucratic partisan hack” during his time in office.
Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who was appointed in 1984 during the Reagan Administration, faced questions about the origins of the COVID-19 virus and the government’s response to the pandemic during his testimony before a House subcommittee on Monday.
Fallon criticized Fauci on “Newsline,” stating, “This guy was just honestly a bureaucratic partisan hack, and that’s unfortunate to say that, but it was true.”
He also highlighted the fact that many Americans, particularly on the left, unquestioningly accepted Fauci’s statements, despite the data now showing discrepancies in COVID-19 outcomes in states with different approaches to the pandemic.
Fallon questioned why liberal states imposed strict COVID-19 restrictions that infringed on Americans’ rights and liberties, calling it an overreaction that the left is now trying to overlook.
