Rep. Grothman Tells Newsmax: There Is No Point in Pardoning Hunter
Rep. Glenn Grothman, R-Wis., told Newsmax on Saturday that President Joe Biden’s statement about not pardoning his son for his pending gun trial is irrelevant.
According to Grothman, with high-profile attorneys supporting Hunter Biden and the first lady in attendance, any potential conviction is likely to result in a minor penalty. He believes that even if Hunter Biden is convicted, the crime will be insignificant compared to his involvement with Ukrainian gas company Burisma.
“Given the damage he’s done to the country and our relationships with Ukraine and China, the penalty is expected to be minimal,” Grothman stated.
