Rep. Jordan Tells Newsmax: White House Held Back Biden-Hunter Transcripts

House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, informed Newsmax that the transcripts of conversations between President Joe Biden and special counsel Robert Hur were finally delivered by the White House on Tuesday morning, just five days after the subpoena deadline and shortly before Hur’s hearing.

This left House Republicans scrambling to review the 258 pages of transcripts before Hur’s testimony in front of Jordan’s panel.

Jordan criticized the White House’s actions as typical games, pointing out that the subpoena was issued on February 27 with a deadline of March 7.

“It would have been helpful to have this information earlier to prepare for questioning the special counsel,” Jordan stated on “Eric Bolling The Balance,” on Tuesday. He highlighted that the White House had the transcripts and spoke to reporters the previous night, only releasing them embargoed until the following morning.

Although Hur did not press charges against Biden due to doubts about convicting an elderly man with memory issues, the transcripts show Biden’s struggle to remember key details, including the date of his son Beau’s death and various other important dates.

Diving into Biden’s lapses in memory, Axios also highlighted instances where Biden needed help recalling significant events.

Despite these challenges, Jordan expressed satisfaction with the information provided by Hur during the hearing and suggested that Biden’s motivation for withholding classified information may have been his $8 million book deal.
