Rep. Mace Tells Newsmax: America under Biden’s Leadership is a ‘Disaster’
The Biden administration is hoping that the focus will be shifted away from President Joe Biden’s track record on the economy, border, and national security during former President Donald Trump’s fraud trial in New York City, according to Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., in an interview with Newsmax on Thursday.
Mace expressed her disappointment that Biden’s actions in office are being overshadowed by the attention on Trump’s legal issues.
“They want to avoid discussing this,” she said, referring to the Biden administration.
“They don’t want to address immigration because Joe Biden has kept the border wide open,” she added. “He has allowed over 9 million illegal immigrants to enter the country. And now, every state is facing border security issues.”
“They don’t want to talk about the recent tragic incident in my district in Bluffton, S.C., where an infant was killed by an illegal immigrant who was driving under the influence,” Mace continued.
“They don’t want to discuss Matty Hines in the upstate of South Carolina, who lost his life in a crash caused by an illegal immigrant,” she added.
Mace criticized the Biden administration for politicizing the judicial system, calling it an “abuse of power.”
“If this can happen to Donald Trump, it can happen to anyone in this country,” she warned. “Independent voters are seeing this injustice unfold. They are witnessing the balance of power being influenced by activist judges and politically-motivated prosecutors attempting to manipulate election outcomes.”
Mace highlighted that voters experienced greater prosperity and freedom during the Trump administration compared to the current situation under Biden.
