Rep. Meuser Tells Newsmax: Biden Supporters Regret Their Decision

Rep. Dan Meuser stated on Newsmax Thursday that the latest Emerson poll showing former President Donald Trump ahead of President Joe Biden reflects a high level of “Biden buyers’ remorse” in the United States, with Trump leading Biden 47% to 43%.

Meuser, a Pennsylvania Republican, pointed out that gas prices are rising and crime is a top concern for Americans, even above the border crisis, per the poll. He attributed these problems to the policies of the Biden administration.

Regarding Biden’s State of the Union address, Meuser criticized it as “the state of delusion” and accused the administration of increasing spending and taxes, which he believes will only worsen the situation.

Meuser also criticized the left-wing agenda, stating that it aims to grow the government while shrinking the economy, leading to a diminished national security.

The producer price index released on Thursday showed an increase of 0.6% from January to February, contributing to inflation. Meuser noted that this, along with trade disruptions in the Middle East, is pushing prices up.

He also highlighted the high government spending on entitlements, regulations on small businesses, and cuts made by the Republican majority as factors contributing to inflation and weakening the economy.
