Rep. Mills Drafts Impeachment Articles in Response to Biden’s Aid Threat

Rep. Cory Mills, R-Fla., has submitted impeachment articles against President Joe Biden, accusing him of compromising United States national security by withholding military aid to Israel.

Mills referenced impeachment articles used against former President Donald Trump in 2019 for abuse of power and withholding aid to Ukraine, calling Biden “Quid Pro Joe.”

“I have submitted to House counsel and will pursue action tomorrow morning using the Dems’ own language, but Biden’s actual abuse of power,” Mills stated in a post on X.

Earlier, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., also called for Biden’s impeachment, citing the precedent set by the Trump-Ukraine situation.

Biden’s decision to withhold heavy munitions from Israel for their offensive against Hamas in Rafah has sparked controversy. The administration halted a shipment of bombs and explosives approved by Congress and signed by Biden as a warning against military action in Rafah.

In his resolution, Mills stated, “President Biden solicited a ‘quid pro quo’ with Israel by withholding precision guided weapons shipments, compromising national security.”

Cotton also expressed support for Israel’s military actions.
