Tennessee Republican Rep. Andy Ogles believes it is time to begin impeachment proceedings against President Joe Biden. Ogles previously drafted articles of impeachment against Biden and argues that there is ample evidence to support the impeachment inquiry. He is critical of Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s desire to conduct an impeachment inquiry before a direct impeachment vote, as he believes it gives the White House an opportunity to push back and distract from the allegations against Biden. Ogles also believes that Vice President Kamala Harris and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas should face impeachment proceedings regarding the southern border crisis.
