Rep. Phillips Tells Newsmax: Hamas Prepared to Sacrifice ‘All Palestinians’

Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., stated on Newsmax on Tuesday that Hamas is willing to sacrifice the lives of nearly every Palestinian in Gaza to achieve their goal of destroying Israel.

Phillips’ remarks on “The Record With Greta Van Susteren” highlight the stark contrast between his views and those of his Democratic colleagues, including Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., who referred to Israel’s military actions as “genocide in Gaza.”

While Omar has shown support for protesters blaming Israel for the conflict, Phillips called attention to the disconnect in values between Israel, which values life, and Hamas, a terrorist organization that continues its attacks despite the consequences for Palestinian civilians.

Recent polls indicate a divide among Democrats regarding the protests, with 30% of “Biden voters” supporting the demonstrators. In contrast, the majority of Trump supporters condemn the protests.
