Rep. Tiffany Urges Newsmax to Release Biden Tapes for Public Viewing
On Newsmax on Thursday, Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis., highlighted the importance of transparency in releasing audio of President Joe Biden’s interview with special counsel Robert Hur.
“What are the Biden family, President Biden, and the White House trying to conceal? The American people should have access to the full information, including those audio tapes,” he said during an appearance on “American Agenda.”
Tiffany stressed that the American people deserve to know the truth, stating, “It’s crucial for the American people to see and hear the truth in its raw form, and then they can make their own judgments.”
Biden’s decision to use executive privilege to withhold audio recordings of his interviews with special counsel Robert Hur has sparked controversy and raised concerns about transparency within the current administration.
Tiffany criticized the decision, questioning the motives of the administration, and saying, “It seems like they are trying to hide something.”
He also expressed concerns about Biden’s mental state and suggested that the tapes could reveal signs of cognitive decline.
“We can see that he’s clearly experiencing cognitive decline. Could this be evident in the audio tapes? I think that’s what the White House is afraid of,” Tiffany commented.
Despite calls for the release of both audio and video recordings, Tiffany acknowledged that the White House may have reservations about releasing potentially damaging footage of Biden.
The House Judiciary Committee’s decision to advance contempt proceedings against Attorney General Merrick Garland further intensified tensions.
Tiffany questioned Garland’s actions and urged him to fulfill his duties without bias, stating, “Will he stand up to the president and demand the release of these tapes?”
