Rep. Van Duyne Tells Newsmax: The Asylum is Being Run by Crazies

According to Rep. Beth Van Duyne, R-Texas, President Joe Biden is yielding to “the squad” in terms of aid for Israel, as she stated Monday on Newsmax.

“I believe what we are witnessing in the Democratic party is the radicals taking control,” Van Duyne told “The National Report.” “We sent a clear message to the president- Israel required aid and we were there to provide it. And that’s precisely what we should be doing.”

Last week, Biden mentioned that he would halt the delivery of bombs to Israel if it entered the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

“Individuals like ‘the squad’ should not be influencing foreign policy,” Van Duyne expressed.

“The Squad” is an informal group of nine progressive Democrat House members, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

Van Duyne asserted that the president is heeding to protestors who are spreading anti-American, anti-Israel, and anti-Jewish sentiments while supporting terrorists.

“The radicals are in charge,” Van Duyne said. “We can only do so much.”

Rep. Carlos Gimenez, R-Fla., added on Newsmax that Biden should follow the Congress’s desires and support America’s strongest Middle Eastern ally.

“The Israelis are determined,” Gimenez mentioned on “National Report.” “There are thousands of Hamas terrorists in Rafah. Israel’s objective is to eliminate Hamas. Stopping short of entering Rafah falls short of their intentions.”

Gimenez explained that requesting Israel not to penetrate Rafah would be akin to requesting the U.S. not to combat Al Qaeda after 9/11.

“That’s an unreasonable request,” Gimenez said. “President Biden needs to provide our greatest ally with the necessary precision weapons to reduce collateral damage. He needs to do what’s right; I doubt he will do so.”
