Report: Giuliani Still Seeking Georgia Lawyer for Surrender Negotiations
Rudy Giuliani, former attorney and adviser to Donald Trump, is reportedly being assisted by former New York Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik in negotiating his surrender in Georgia. Kerik, who is not a lawyer, has agreed to help Giuliani with bond negotiations and surrendering to local authorities. Giuliani, along with 18 other defendants, is facing a deadline to turn himself in after being indicted in a Georgia election interference case. Giuliani has been dealing with numerous legal issues and reportedly sought help from Trump to cover his legal bills. Kerik, who is listed as co-conspirator 5 in the indictment, has been leveraging his law enforcement contacts to assist Giuliani.
