Representative Biggs tells Newsmax that tapes of Hunter Biden will reveal president’s incompetence

Rep. Andy Biggs told Newsmax on Wednesday that the audio recordings of the interview Special Counsel Robert Hur had with President Joe Biden will reveal his unfitness for office.

The Arizona Republican spoke on “Wake Up America” the day after Attorney General Merrick Garland’s appearance before a House panel. One of the issues discussed was Garland’s refusal to hand over the audio recordings despite a congressional subpoena.

Biggs emphasized that these recordings “will demonstrate pretty accurately that President Biden has cognitive decline.” He added, “That’s why he was not prosecuted, ultimately, because of his cognitive decline… if you can’t be prosecuted due to lack of intent, it suggests you can’t effectively lead the most powerful nation in the world.”

The congressman pointed out that the administration is going to great lengths to prevent the public from hearing the tapes because they would reveal that “Joe Biden is unfit to be president.”

Biggs acknowledged the political nature of actions in Washington, D.C., but stated that the effort to obtain these tapes is more than political. He warned that if the leader of the U.S. cannot form coherent thoughts, it poses a danger to the country and the world, questioning, “who is actually running the country?”

Biggs also emphasized the need for the GOP to secure these recordings before the November 5 election to impact voters.
