Representative Brian Mast refers to Biden as ‘Pretender-in-Chief’ in interview with Newsmax

President Joe Biden’s speech in Normandy should’ve focused on honoring the brave souls that sacrificed their lives during D-Day, according to Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., in an interview with Newsmax on Thursday.

“Instead of paying tribute to the heroes of D-Day, he chose to shift the focus towards his own political agenda, neglecting the true essence of this historic event,” Mast criticized Biden’s commemoration of the 80^th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.

“His speech should have revolved around the valiant soldiers, the fallen heroes, the devoted servants, and the inspiration they provide to future generations of Americans to serve this great nation.”

In his address, Biden condemned succumbing to bullies and dictators like Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Surrendering to tyrants like Putin would mean disregarding the sacrifices made on these sacred beaches,” Biden emphasized.

Mast dismissed Biden as a “pretender-in-chief.”

“He is pretending to play the role of a president without truly embodying what the United States of America rightfully deserves,” Mast criticized Biden.

Discussing a Wall Street Journal article highlighting Biden’s cognitive decline, Mast urged Americans to objectively observe the current situation.

“His actions speak volumes about his competence,” Mast pointed out. “His struggles with communication, handling foreign affairs, and fulfilling his duties as commander in chief are evident, indicating a lack of leadership for three years.”
