Representative Jim Jordan tells Newsmax that it’s ‘Typical’ for Federal Agencies to Delay Information

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, mentioned to Newsmax that federal agencies are typically slow to respond but eventually provide answers.

During an interview on “The Record with Greta Van Susteren,” Jordan addressed the delays in receiving information from federal agencies. He stated, “Anytime we want information from a federal agency, it seems to take forever. We go back and forth with letters, sometimes requiring subpoenas. It’s always a challenge to get information, regardless of the subject.”

Last year, Joran van der Sloot confessed in detail to the murder of Natalee Holloway. Following his guilty plea, he was accused of trying to extort money from Natalee’s mother for information about her remains.

Jordan is seeking information on how the FBI mishandled an opportunity to arrest Van der Sloot in 2010.
