Republic Jordan criticizes Biden’s new border policies
President Joe Biden’s recent migration orders come as no surprise to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, who criticized Biden and Department of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas for allowing millions of illegal immigrants to enter the country since Biden’s inauguration in 2021. Jordan pointed out that Biden is on track to permit nearly 12 million illegal aliens into the U.S. by the end of his term, impacting his poll numbers especially on immigration.
Jordan also highlighted the upcoming debate between Biden and former President Donald Trump, whom he described as “the strongest border security president in the history of the United States.” Jordan criticized Biden’s executive order, calling it “unserious” and stating that it will not secure America’s borders. The order allows up to 2,499 illegal aliens per day to cross the border between ports of entry, totaling nearly 1 million per year, excluding immigrants subject to the rule’s exceptions. Jordan criticized Biden for continuing to abuse the law to permit millions of illegal aliens to enter the U.S. through ports of entry.
