RFK Jr. Claims Trump Associates Approached Him to Be Vice President

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent presidential candidate, stated on social media that he was asked by allies of former President Donald Trump to be his running mate, despite Trump calling him an “ultra-left radical.” Kennedy declined the offer, expressing his opposition to Trump and belief that Biden cannot win. Trump has criticized Kennedy as a liberal candidate who may attract votes away from Biden.

Trump campaign aide Chris LaCivita refuted Kennedy’s claim, stating that he would never be considered for the VP position. Make America Great Again Inc. launched a website mocking Kennedy’s views on various issues and highlighting his monogram as “Radical F****** Kennedy.”

Reports from the New York Post and The New York Times indicated that Trump’s team had reached out to Kennedy, but the offer was not taken seriously. Political strategists suggest that an independent candidate like Kennedy could impact the election outcome by drawing votes in crucial states.
