RFK Jr. Expresses Concern Over Inadequate Protection Amid Death Threats
Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. criticized the Biden administration for denying his requests for Secret Service protection, despite providing evidence of death threats and multiple break-ins at his home.
Kennedy has been denied protection five times since July, with the most recent rejection coming from Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas earlier this month.
In an interview with “The World Over Live,” Kennedy stated, “I provided them 68 pages of material death threats of actual incidents where people came with guns to my events and tried to get into my green room with hidden weapons.”
Kennedy has had four break-ins at his house since announcing his presidential run, including one intruder reaching the second floor while his family was present.
Concerned about potential collateral damage in the event of an assassination attempt, Kennedy highlighted the importance of having Secret Service protection to prevent such incidents.
The Secret Service dismissed a security request from Kennedy in February, citing a low threat potential against him.
