RFK Jr. Reaches Signature Threshold in Arizona and Georgia, Super PAC Reports

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has gathered enough signatures to be on the ballots in swing states Arizona and Georgia, according to super PAC American Values 2024.

President Joe Biden narrowly defeated former President Donald Trump in the general election in 2020, with Arizona and Georgia playing crucial roles. A potential rematch in November seems likely.

While Kennedy’s chances of winning are slim, his presence on the ballot in key battleground states could impact the outcome.

American Values 2024 co-founder Tony Lyons stated on Tuesday that “the grassroots energy and momentum give us more confidence than ever in our ability to knock out the remaining states on our list of states quickly,” as reported by CNN.

According to Just the News, the remaining states where Kennedy is aiming to appear on the ballot include Michigan, South Carolina, Maryland, California, West Virginia, Indiana, Texas, Illinois, New York, and Massachusetts.

The super PAC announced in December that it would allocate $10-15 million to support Kennedy in gathering the necessary signatures.

Currently, Kennedy is only on the ballot in Utah, although his campaign has collected enough signatures to also appear in New Hampshire and Hawaii, as per CNN.

The son of the former U.S. senator and 1968 presidential candidate intends to be on the ballot in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

The Democratic National Committee raised concerns by filing a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against Kennedy’s campaign and American Values 2024. The DNC alleges that the campaign received improper benefits from the super PAC’s efforts to get Kennedy’s name on state ballots.

Following the DNC’s complaint, American Values 2024 announced plans to fund access efforts in five additional states, as detailed in a report by NBC News.

The DNC claims that this action violates federal law and constitutes an illegal contribution to the Kennedy campaign by American Values 2024.
