RFK Jr. Running for President Could Pose a Bigger Threat to Trump than Biden
The Kennedy family is concerned that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. may attract more votes from President Joe Biden than from Donald Trump.
However, a poll conducted by NBC may indicate otherwise.
According to Mediaite, the absence of RFK Jr. from the race may make the former president more vulnerable.
RFK’s sister, Rory Kennedy, expressed her concerns on MSNBC, stating that she fears her brother will take more votes from Biden than from Trump, potentially impacting the election outcome.
On Sunday, NBC News released a survey showing that in a two-way race, Trump leads Biden 46% to 44%. However, when RFK Jr. is included in the survey and gains 13% of the vote, it tips the scales in Biden’s favor, with Trump trailing by 2 points. This results in a 4-point swing in Biden’s favor.
The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1%
