Ric Grenell Tells Newsmax: World Leaders are Desperate for Donald Trump

Former Ambassador to Germany Ric Grenell has been informed by world leaders that they are secretly hoping for former President Donald Trump to win reelection.

“I’ve had conversations with many socialist leaders, as well as individuals on the left, who admit privately that they prefer Donald Trump,” Grenell shared with Newsmax‘s “Newsline” on Monday. “While some may not say it publicly, they express their support for him in private.”

Leaders such as Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz have shown backing for President Joe Biden because they believe he is a weaker leader, according to Grenell.

During the G7 Summit in Italy last week, Scholz stated in an interview that Biden “knows exactly what he’s doing” and is likely to secure a second term in office.

“They desire Joe Biden to remain in power because he is seen as predictable and weak,” Grenell concluded. “This strategy makes sense.”

“Whether it is for economic competition like Germany or opposing us on principles of freedom and democracy like Russia, it is in their interest to have a weaker leader governing the United States.”
