Rob Schneider Tells Newsmax: De Niro’s Fearmongering is Unfounded
Actor and comedian Rob Schneider criticized Robert De Niro’s attempts to spread fear about a potential second Trump administration, stating that it shows Democrats are not looking out for the best interests of Americans. Schneider made these comments during an interview with Newsmax on Tuesday night.
Schneider appeared on “Eric Bolling The Balance” shortly after De Niro spoke on behalf of President Joe Biden’s campaign outside the New York courthouse where former President Donald Trump’s trial is taking place.
De Niro warned that Americans would lose freedoms and Trump would refuse to leave office if he was reelected.
“I refuse to be swayed by this fearmongering,” Schneider told Bolling. “Until Democrats hold people like Tony Fauci accountable for their actions, stop endless wars and excessive spending, I don’t believe they have the best interests of everyone at heart.”
Schneider, who was promoting his book “You Can Do It! Speak Your Mind, America,” also disagreed with De Niro’s claim that Trump would not leave office voluntarily.
“People always claim each election is the most crucial, but Trump did leave office once, so the idea that he won’t leave again is baseless,” Schneider explained.
He expressed confidence in the US system of governance, stating that it is strong enough to withstand any potential challenges from either party.
Schneider outlined his concerns about a potential Biden reelection, particularly regarding immigration policies and the possibility of expanding the Supreme Court.
