Robert F. Kennedy Jr. tells Newsmax that his campaign is drawing in individuals who typically do not vote
During an interview with Newsmax, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stated that his campaign is attracting people who wouldn’t typically vote, rather than taking away votes from President Joe Biden.
These comments were made during his appearance on “National Report” on Tuesday.
When asked if he has been urged to end his campaign to avoid drawing votes from Biden, Kennedy explained that polling indicates he is engaging individuals who have previously withdrawn from the election process.
He mentioned that most people do not want to see a rematch between Trump and Biden, and he believes his candidacy offers voters an alternative choice. Kennedy emphasized the importance of inspiring voters and not forcing them to choose between two undesirable options.
Addressing concerns within his family about his campaign, Kennedy acknowledged differing opinions but emphasized the importance of respectful debate and love despite disagreements.
Additionally, Kennedy noted that several members of his family are part of the Biden administration and shared his admiration for Biden’s relationship with his father. He expressed gratitude for the support he has received from many family members, even if they do not agree with his decision to run for president.
