Sam Brown Tells Newsmax He is ‘Well-Positioned’ to Defeat Democratic Senator Jacky Rosen
Republicans have the opportunity to unseat Democratic senators and secure the majority in the upcoming November elections, according to Iraq War veteran and retired U.S. Army Capt. Sam Brown, who is the Republican candidate for Senate in Nevada. In an interview with Newsmax on Monday, Brown expressed confidence in his campaign’s position against the incumbent Senator Jacky Rosen, whom he described as weak and a product of former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
Jacky Rosen, a former computer programmer without prior political experience, was urged by Harry Reid to run for Congress in 2016 and was later elected to the Senate in 2018 after defeating incumbent Senator Dean Heller. Brown highlighted the significance of former President Donald Trump’s endorsement, connecting with voters who have been negatively impacted by President Joe Biden’s policies.
According to Brown, the top concerns among Nevada voters, regardless of party affiliation, are the border crisis and the rising cost of goods. He criticized the current administration’s policies, stating that they have turned the American dream into a nightmare for many individuals.
