Sen. Tim Scott to Newsmax: Another Biden Term ‘Dangerous’

Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., told Newsmax on Monday that President Joe Biden and the “radical left” are working from a “blueprint for how to ruin America” and that another Biden term would be “dangerous” for Americans.

“I’ve learned that people are truly hungry for an optimistic, positive message as long as it is anchored in conservatism — that is the primary key,” Scott said on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America.” “One of the things I continue to hear from voters across the country is the importance of telling the truth, that we should celebrate our Founding Fathers and the Judeo-Christian foundation of this nation, not cancel it.”

Scott said that another four years of a Biden administration is “dangerous for the American people, without any question.”

“Think about the four parts of that blueprint to ruin America: patriotism is down, religious liberties [are down], assaults are up, education is at its lowest level, perhaps in the history of the country, when you find the measurements from post-COVID,” Scott said. “We’ve seen scores drop precipitously.

“Our economy, we’re facing 16% inflation since he’s become president, and every county in America is a border county. This president has allowed our border to be unsafe, wide open and unsecured.

“We cannot allow for 70,000 more Americans, to lose their lives because of Mexican cartels bringing fentanyl across our border and 6.3 million illegal crossings. Unbelievably terrible performance. We don’t need four more years of Joe Biden.”

Asked if Biden’s age could be a problem for the Democrats in the 2024 election, Scott said “age is not the problem.”

“I refuse to allow age to be his issue,” he said. “His incompetence is his issue. I refuse to give him an escape route on why he is not succeeding.

“He is not succeeding because after 50 years in Washington, he goes wherever the radical left wind blows, and that has punished the American people.

“They attack our education system. This is the president that wants to cancel charter schools. Every single parent I know loves their kids more than big labor unions and education, more than anyone else, and yet they’re being excluded from the conversation. We should be the party of parents.

“When you see the contrast between Joe Biden and the great opportunity party, it cannot be clearer that we are the party of parents, and they continue, through the DOJ [Department of Justice], to say parents that show up at school board meetings are domestic terrorists. This can’t be the America we want for our future.”
