Senate Approves Dhillon as Head of DOJ Civil Rights Division




The U.S. Senate confirmed Harmeet Dhillon, a conservative attorney nominated by President Donald Trump to head the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, with a vote tally of 52-45 on Thursday. One Republican senator, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, joined Democrats in opposing the nomination.
