Senator Blackburn tells Newsmax: Border will be open for Trump’s visit

Reacting to the recent murder of a University of Georgia nursing student, Senator Marsha Blackburn from Tennessee expressed her condolences to the family. She described Laken Riley as an exceptional young woman with a promising future in healthcare.

The suspect, Jose Ibarra, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela, has been charged with Riley’s assault and murder.

Senator Blackburn conveyed her sympathies to Riley’s family during an appearance on “American Agenda” and criticized the Biden administration for the border situation.

She highlighted the security measures under President Donald Trump and pointed out the increase in criminal illegal aliens entering the country under the current administration.

Both President Joe Biden and Trump are scheduled to visit Texas border towns ahead of the March 5 primary, with Biden visiting Brownsville and Trump visiting Eagle Pass.

Blackburn anticipated a positive reception for Trump during his border visit.
