Senator Kennedy Proposes Legislation to Eliminate Federal Funding for NPR and PBS
On Monday, Senator John Kennedy, R-La., proposed legislation aimed at terminating federal financial support for NPR and PBS. He stated, “We are allocating half a billion dollars annually to support opinion journalism, which these organizations have the right to pursue, but it shouldn’t be funded by taxpayer money.”
