Senator Mullin accuses Garland of ‘Carrying Water’ for Biden Administration in Interview with Newsmax

Senator Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., stated that the audio of President Joe Biden’s interview with special counsel Robert Hur will be revealed once President Donald Trump is back in office. Mullin accused the current administration of hiding behind their appointees to conceal information. He made these remarks during an interview on Newsmax’s “Newsline.”

Mullin also criticized Attorney General Merrick Garland for trying to distance himself from direct involvement in the decision-making process while still being heavily involved. Garland recently stated he will not be intimidated by attempts to hold him in contempt for withholding the recording, citing concerns about deepfakes and disinformation.

Regarding Hur’s report, which found no criminal charges warranted in Biden’s handling of classified documents, Mullin noted the inconsistencies in Biden’s memory and accused Garland of favoring the Biden administration. He emphasized the need for transparency in releasing information on both administrations.
