Senator Scott questions Intel CEO about Chips award following announcement of job cuts
Republican Sen. Rick Scott has requested additional information from Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger regarding the company’s decision to eliminate over 15,000 jobs. This decision comes despite Intel being slated to receive almost $20 billion in grants and loans from the U.S. government to enhance chip production.
