Shaffer to Newsmax: Murkowski and Collins Attempt to Politicize Hegseth’s Confirmation
Sens. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins from Maine are seeking access to the complete FBI report regarding President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth. Retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel Tony Shaffer commented that this action indicates “they don’t trust the FBI, which is acceptable.”
