Former aides to ex-President Joe Biden were reportedly “shocked” on Friday following revelations regarding his alleged discussions with prominent Democrat leaders—strategically positioning himself to enhance the party’s public perception and fundraising initiatives.

According to NBC News, the 82-year-old ex-president along with his wife, former first lady Jill Biden, allegedly met last month with newly elected Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairman Ken Martin to propose methods to help “revitalize” the Democrats’ campaign strategies.

Recent surveys indicate that Democrat support has dwindled in the U.S., with less than one-third of the populace approving of the party’s performance since President Donald Trump returned to the White House on January 20th.

“The Bidens seem to be in an alternate reality that revolves solely around them,” commented an anonymous “former senior White House advisor” in reaction to the NBC report.

“Their recklessness, family pride, and self-centeredness have placed the Democratic Party in this predicament to begin with … The Biden family—and the isolated world they and their ineffective circle inhabit—are to blame for the sequel to Trump and the current wilderness the Democratic Party finds itself in,” they added.

“Why?” asked another former Biden administration official. “That’s my first question.”

“They can’t raise funds in either scenario,” they continued. “I believe donors would be more willing to contribute if [the Bidens] were not prominent.”

“Joe Biden ought to enjoy his retirement at the beach in Rehoboth,” a third Biden former aide stated. “No voter wants to hear from him. He is delusional and arrogant to think he can contribute positively to the Democratic Party. We need to move beyond the Biden era and welcome new, younger leadership.”

The critiques also targeted Congressional Democrats, who have lost control of the chamber following the significant defeat of then-Vice President Kamala Harris on November 5th. She entered the contest after Biden bowed out—later revealing on July 21st that he would not seek a second term.

“Why on Earth would anyone care what Joe Biden has to say?” shouted another source from the Congressional Democrats. “He should remain in retirement with his pardoned family and keep quiet.”

“The best contribution Biden could make to the DNC would be to offer [DNC vice chair] David Hogg a lucrative position at his foundation,” he humorously suggested.

“Is this for real?” a former Democrat aide questioned. “It feels like this is something straight out of an ‘SNL’ skit.”

Since leaving the presidency, Biden has maintained a relatively low profile—seldom engaging on social media platforms.

Biden also recently signed with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), with which he previously teamed up to promote his book, “Promise Me, Dad”, after stepping down as vice president in 2017.

“These individuals have consumed so much of their own Kool-Aid,” vented the ex-senior White House advisor, “that they genuinely believed—and still appear to believe—that an 82-year-old man with a 38% approval rating on a good day, who struggles with a basic 10-minute traditional pre-Super Bowl interview, was the solution for Democrats in 2024 and now the same group believes the Bidens hold the answer for Democrats today?
