St. Louis University Promotes Trans Ideology within Medical Education
St. Louis University’s Transgender Health Collaborative has released a toolkit aimed at reshaping medical students’ perspectives on gender and sexuality. Developed in collaboration with the Metro Trans Umbrella Group, the toolkit promotes inclusivity within medical education and encourages medical educators to embrace transgender and gender-diverse identities. However, concerns have been raised about the potential pitfalls of enforcing “gender-affirming care” for children and the potential complications of overlooking relevant patient medical histories. This move from St. Louis University, a prestigious Catholic institution, is seen as being in discord with its religious foundation, as the Catholic Church recognizes only two genders and cautions against gender transitions.
