States Failing to Monitor Abuses in Foster Care Facilities, According to HHS IG
The U.S. Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General reported on Wednesday that many states are not adequately monitoring incidents of abuse, sexual assault, and improper restraint of children in foster care facilities, putting them at risk of mistreatment.
