According to a recent poll conducted by The Wall Street Journal, former Vice President Mike Pence and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie have the worst favorability ratings among the candidates in the 2024 Republican primary. The survey found that 63% of Republican primary voters view Pence unfavorably, while 73% disapprove of Christie. On the other hand, former President Donald Trump remains the frontrunner with a 52-point favorability rating, followed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at plus 46 points. Despite facing indictments and accusations related to the 2020 election and the Capitol breach, Trump continues to dominate the primary season. The poll was conducted from August 24 to August 30 and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 2.5 points.
Survey: Trump’s Popularity Surpasses GOP Competitors by a Wide Margin; Pence and Christie Rated the Lowest
