The Democratic Party is no longer a safe space for Jews, according to Sarnoff

Jewish voters can no longer afford to dogmatically support Democrats.

Today’s Democratic values are something quite different than 20 years ago.

Many were socially liberal, of the firm belief government does not belong in your bedroom, consenting adults are just that: consenting adults.

The party split on fiscal policy with many simply not caring or understanding what makes an economy work and others driving policy to ensure it worked but provided an adequate safety net.

Today democratic socialists are quickly becoming one third of the party, damning the economy. They seemingly chant, “We want what we want, when we want it.”

There are still some, though not many, who actually care about how the economy really works.

Today the Democratic Party is splintering in their efforts to support Hamas, even after learning of the barbaric torture and murder perpetrated on the Jewish people.

The Democratic Party is at a crossroads, politically tied to the left for its victories in swing states for the presidency, however, it comes with a heavy price, catering to the left’s weighty demands.

For Israel, weighing the support of the president’s demand for a cease-fire now affords a chance to re-arm, or simply take out the terrorist leadership.

Hamas’ true ends are best understood from its leaders.

On Oct. 24, Hamas Ghazi Hamad, the second ranking member in the Hamas Politburo was clear: “We must teach Israel a lesson and we will do this again and again . . . there will be a second and third and fourth Al Aqsa Flood,” the name Hamas gave to its offensive for the slaughter of defenseless Jews.

A Poll published in the Beirut newspaper reported that 80% of Lebanese respondents supported Hamas attack on Oct. 7.

Hamad went on to say nations are not easily liberated, noting sometimes it has required the death of millions of people. Hamad then instructed “nobody should blame us for the things we do . . . everything is justified.”

Hamas ends justify the means strategy could spell the end for Israel.

It could mean the extermination of more than nine million people as a start, because there will be more Jews left globally, and our world’s history is littered with Jewish Pogroms.

America’s recent history with war is abysmal.

Israel is in the best position to determine how to win.

In the words of Golda Meir, who served as Israel’s fourth prime minister from 1969 to 1974, Israel has a secret weapon: we have nowhere else to go.

After years of teaching Boycott Divestiture and Sanctions [BDS], a Palestinian-led movement, indoctrination at our universities is nearly complete.

Presently, 51% of Democrats under the age of 35 don’t support military aid to Israel after the Hamas attacks. “Never Again,” was a mass expression by Jews who survived the holocaust, after getting off their knees in 1945 to learn the extent of Jewish extermination at the hands of Nazi’s.

After numerous conferences, a plan of action was implemented to ensure “Never Again,” and that strategy was called Israel.

Sunday, Oct.7 is captured on video, there can be no hiding the atrocities.

The IDF compiled a video of the actual torture, murders, and their aftermath; it is presently being shared with the media.

Shortly it will go mainstream for all to see: the celebration by Hamas of its brutal conquest of women, children and the elderly, once thought to be off limits.

In fact, a Hamas terrorist is recorded calling his mother and father expressing his joy in killing more than 10 Jews. On that recording, his parents bestow praise, wishing they were with him.

Ironically those who write history, will attempt to describe the events as justified seeking a moral equivalency.

Arabs comprise 20% of Israels population, entitled to vote and receive an education.

All women are educated and treated as individuals in their own right. Homosexuality or gender neutrality are not crimes.

Radical Islam, Hamas its standard bearer, metes out punishment for homosexuality – which is death. Additionally, women have no rights or freedoms; they are not entitled to education, nor permitted to seek gainful employment.

When you support Hamas, you are sponsoring its creed, there is no exception to that.

Life itself is a self-defining core need, no other issue can displace its importance.

Jews want to be safe and secure to own property, educate their children, and create opportunities.

The Jewish people have always been philanthropic, supportive of minorities in arts and education. What led to “Never Again,” has re-emerged: the false equivalency agenda is well underway in America’s universities.

People need to feel safe about their health.

They need to have opportunities for employment, for ownership, be granted the freedom of social mobility.

To be philanthropic people need to believe they are a part of something larger than themselves.

Many values once held by Democrats are mere memories now, even for blue dog Democrats.

But for Jews there is a day of reckoning: the dogmatic support of Democrats should no longer be expected.

Republican support must be viewed through the prism of self-preservation.

Republicans may support issues incompatible with those of Democrats.

However, there is room for safe debate, and you will be alive; arguing concepts within a party that expresses no ambiguity in its support for Jews and Israel, and its very right to live and exist.
