With just nine days remaining before President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, Biden utilized X to proclaim the economy he is leaving behind is the “best in the world.”

Throughout Biden’s tenure, inflation has posed a considerable obstacle for his administration. In his first two years as president, inflation surged, peaking at 9.1% in June 2022. While it has since decreased, it remains above the levels recorded when Trump left office in 2021.

Since Biden took office, egg prices have almost doubled, and some estimates suggest an increase of 50% compared to 2020, during Trump’s presidency.

Biden is slated to deliver a prime-time farewell address to the nation from the Oval Office on Wednesday, January 15, at 8:00 PM ET.
