The United States Ambassador States that China is Threatening Democracy
Nicholas Burns, the American ambassador to China, has accused the country of undermining democracy, as reported by The Wall Street Journal. Burns informed the Journal that China is intimidating citizens who participate in U.S.-organized events in China and is also restricting the embassy’s social media activities.
