Three Buses Detonated in Israel in Alleged Terror Assault – One America News Network

Authorities are investigating a suspected terror attack after three buses exploded in Israel, according to various reports.

On Thursday, two empty buses detonated simultaneously at different parking locations in Bat Yam, close to Tel Aviv. Shortly after, a third bus ignited.
Authorities confirmed that additional bombs were found on two other buses, but they did not detonate and have since been rendered safe.
Fortunately, no fatalities or injuries have been reported.
“Multiple reports have been received of explosions involving several buses at different locations in Bat Yam,” the Israeli Police Spokesperson’s Unit informed ABC News.
“Large police forces are present on the scene, searching for suspects. Bomb disposal units are examining the area for additional suspicious items.”
As reported by The Times of Israel, there were a total of five bombs placed on five distinct buses, according to Tel Aviv District police chief Haim Sargarof.
Sargarof indicated that the explosives seemed to be makeshift with timers attached.
According to several outlets, one of the unexploded devices included a note stating “Revenge of Tulkarem,” referencing a recent Israeli military operation against terrorism in the West Bank.
In response, Defense Minister Israel Katz has directed the Israel Defense Forces to increase operations in the West Bank.
Israeli officials have suspended all bus, train, and light rail transportation nationwide to search for any additional bombs.
The investigation is still underway as authorities seek potential suspects.
