This incident follows prior firebomb attacks on two additional Tesla locations, attributed to individuals protesting the activities of Special Government Employee (SGE) Elon Musk in the Trump administration, alongside the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
White faces charges for allegedly spray-painting derogatory phrases about Musk, the CEO of Tesla, on the windows and walls of the facility located in the Chicago area. Among the activist’s graffiti was the phrase “Trump Sold Us” and “Trans Rights Are Human Rights,” both expressed in white paint on the site.
Standing at 6’2″, White reportedly prefers the pronouns “she/they” and has been charged with criminal trespass, classified as a Class 4 felony, along with criminal damage to property.
As per White’s now-deleted LinkedIn profile, the anti-Musk activist was employed as a bartender in Long Grove, Illinois, but is in the process of shifting careers.
On March 14th, two drivers reported the act of vandalism, witnessing the individual actively defacing the forthcoming Tesla showroom with anti-Musk graffiti, as reported by The Arlington Cardinal, a local outlet covering the Chicago region.
One witness parked nearby and recorded the incident via their dash camera. White, residing less than half a mile from the scene, was apprehended by the officers of the Buffalo Grove Police Department upon their arrival.
Adhering to the “Pretrial Fairness Act,” White was released pending trial.
As part of the conditions of release, White must stay away from all Tesla dealerships. Following an initial hearing on Wednesday, the leftist activist is set to appear in court again on the morning of May 2nd.
The Cook County state’s attorney has indicated that the cleanup costs due to the vandalism are estimated at approximately $1,800, while the repair of the damaged wall panels is projected to be around $7,100. This new Tesla facility, spanning 50,000 square feet, is expected to open this year in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago.
In the meantime, multiple far-left arsonists are being investigated for alleged attacks on various Tesla locations across the country. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has filed serious charges against them recently.
On Monday, the FBI launched a task force aimed at identifying individuals responsible for setting fire to Tesla vehicles and charging stations, classifying the attacks as “domestic terrorism.” In collaboration with local law enforcement, the bureau is probing at least seven out of 48 cases received this month concerning Tesla cars, dealerships, and charging stations.
Recently, three anti-Musk agitators faced federal charges for damaging Tesla properties, including two transgender individuals.
Adam Matthew Lansky, 41, known by the name “Allison Tesla,” was apprehended for a shooting and firebombing incident targeting a Tesla dealership in Salem, Oregon, on February 19th — coinciding with Inauguration Day. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has charged him with unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device. According to the DOJ, Lansky was arrested after he launched approximately eight Molotov cocktails at the Tesla site.
