On Day 1, the president plans to issue around 200 executive orders that target border security, energy independence, working to reduce living costs for American families, abolishing Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) programs within the federal government, among other initiatives.
A significant focus for Trump is the initiative “Make America Safe Again,” wherein he pledges to enhance security at the U.S. border. This includes terminating former President Joe Biden’s catch-and-release policies, reinstating ‘Remain in Mexico,’ constructing the border wall, eliminating asylum for unlawful border crossers, cracking down on criminal sanctuaries, and improving the vetting process for migrants.
Trump’s agenda also encompasses the plan to “Make America Affordable and Energy Dominant Again,” which involves declaring a state of energy emergency and deploying all necessary resources to develop crucial infrastructure.
Moreover, the president intends to execute a plan to “Drain the Swamp.” He is also set to initiate a Golden Age for America by reforming and enhancing government functions to better serve the American populace.
Additionally, Trump is reportedly planning to sign orders that would rename the “Gulf of Mexico” to the “Gulf of America” and rename Mount Denali, the highest peak in North America, to Mount McKinley.
