Trump and Musk Endorse Vivek Ramaswamy for Ohio Governor – One America News Network

President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk have announced their support for entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy as he aims to become Ohio’s next governor.

On Monday, following Ramaswamy’s campaign launch, Trump expressed his endorsement for his former rival on Truth Social.
“VIVEK RAMASWAMY is running for Governor of the Great State of Ohio. I know him well, I competed against him, and he is truly something SPECIAL,” Trump commented.
“He’s Young, Strong, and Smart! Vivek is also a very good person, who genuinely loves our Country,” he added. “He will be a GREAT Governor of Ohio, will never let you down, and has my COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT!”
Trump and Ramaswamy faced off in the 2024 presidential election, where Ramaswamy secured fourth place among all candidates but was a popular second choice among Trump’s supporters during the primaries.
Musk, who had initially aimed for Ramaswamy to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) before he focused on his gubernatorial campaign, also shared his endorsement.
The entrepreneur officially launched his campaign for Ohio’s governorship to a large crowd on Monday.
“Today, I am honored to announce that I am running to be the next governor of a great state at the heart of the greatest nation known to mankind – the state where I was born and raised, the state where Apoorva and I are raising our two sons today – a state whose best days are still ahead,” Ramaswamy stated during a rally in Cincinnati.
