Trump Appeals Initial Court Defeat in E. Jean Carroll Case
The lawyer representing Donald Trump filed a request with a federal appeals court to reverse a $5 million jury decision that found Trump responsible for sexually assaulting and defaming writer E. Jean Carroll. Carroll had accused him of raping her almost 30 years ago.
